- Project Hail Mary: I finished listening to this book a few days ago and here are some of the things that stuck with me:
- As long as I glossed over the following things, I enjoyed the book.
- The part where Stratt is somehow given unfrettered authority by all the countries was the most unbelievable part - I just couldn’t see that happening in the real world.
- The other thing was the author frequently went into too much scientific details when describing his exeriments etc.
- The last chapter provided a fitting ending to the story: Ryland saved earth (duh), found courage to do the right thing by saving Eridani and continuing to do something he loved, i.e. teach kids, on Eridani. He also found respect and community that he probably didn’t have on Earth.
- As long as I glossed over the following things, I enjoyed the book.
